Welllllll here it is TWO months after I created this bloggie and this is only my second post! I TOLD you I was terrible at keeping a "journal." In the last couple months I quit a job, started a new job, and then was laid off from that job. That kinda stinks but I'm not taking it too hard. I figure since school is less than 2 months away I can just enjoy the holidays with the fam. Plus, I have all sorts of sewing and baking projects calling out my name. I'm looking forward to going back to school - just so I can get closer to getting my BMA! Can't wait to graduate. I'm really not a big "school" person. At least not the whole sitting in a classroom for hours writing down notes from the board and carrying around books and trying to keep track of every. single. assignment. Hoping you didn't miss one resulting in an F if you did. Sigh. Just no fun at all to me. I really don't know how all these people go on and get their masters and PhDs! I'm having enough trouble getting my BA as it is. Maybe if the system was different. I dunno. Really, its not THAT bad. But I would definitely rather work. I like work. Its good. And I have fun doing it. Doesn't matter what I end up doing (within certain limitations), I just know I can't wait to get done with the whole student classroom thing.
Other things I'm excited about: Kings game in Sactown in two days! Yay! Going with 20 of my friends and family. The week after that, I get to spend another weekend with some of my favorite relatives in Capitola! My uncle will be away so I'll be helping my aunt with her three amazing cute kids! Then two weeks after that its Thanksgiving. I'll be celebrating it with my relatives in Oxnard, CA! I love me some turkey! Yumm! Oh, and somewhere in there is my birthday, but that's not THAT important or anything... ;)
Hope you all had a good Halloween. I finally got to have a nice chill Halloween handing out candy to the cute kids in my neighborhood and dancing with friends the Saturday before. I dressed up as Aphrodite. I would put up some pics BUT I haven't quite figured out how to do that in a blog yet.
I will however leave you with this quote: "A coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous." (spelled both of those big words withOUT needing spell check btw...). Albert Einstein is said to have said that. So we'll just stick with that. :)
